YogaNidra_(1)

Pranayama &
Yoga Nidra

While Pranayama is the regulation of breath, that allows the energy (prana) or life-force to flow effortlessly through the body, Yoga Nidra is divine sleep or deep relaxation, practiced in a state of shavasana, to consciously allow the body and mind to relax.

Our 60-minute combination of Pranayama and Yoga Nidra, is a wonderful way to let go of the days stresses and train yourself to respond to relaxation, thus returning the body to its natural state of being.

Through practice the energy within the body is regulated, the body relaxes, and you begin to experience calmness, clarity and the aspects of prana which are love, wisdom, light and energy. Regular practice of Pranayama and Yoga Nidra helps relieve stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, migraines, asthma, hypertension etc.  It also promotes clarity of mind, general health and harmony.

Pilates

Mat Pilates

Pilates is a form of low-impact exercise that aims to strengthen muscles while improving postural alignment and flexibility. It targets the core, although the exercises work other areas of your body as well. It involves slow, precise movements and breath control. Itís a full-body exercise that strengthens and stabilizes your core, so that you can move efficiently while improving your posture, flexibility, and mobility.

Mat Pilates is a series of exercises from within the Pilates Method designed to be performed on a mat. The idea behind Mat Pilates, according to Joseph Pilates, the Founder of the Pilates Method, was to challenge your muscles in a variety of ways.

The benefit of Mat Pilates is that it can be done anywhere and with just a mat. Other health benefits include improved flexibility; increased muscle strength; body toning Ė particularly abdominal muscles; strengthening lower back; whole body alignment.
